Beautiful autumn day at the Gleinkersee

In today’s blogpost I want to show you the pictures of our recent photo-tour to the Gleinkerlake in Upper Austria. It was indeed a really nice sunny autumn day at a beautiful location. For this trip I used my Nikon D750 with the Tamron SP 15-30 F2.8 and Tamron SP 24-70 F2.8 which performed great as expected.
Now to the Pictures!
After arriving at the parking lot we started our tour following the signs to the lake. From the parking lot you can start many different hiking tours. We took the way around the lake. As the sun was not far above the mountains I was able to get some beautiful backlit shots. Editing them was a bit tricky, but I am pleased with the results. On the way round the lake we found plenty of opportunities to sit down and enjoy the view.
Conclusion
We enjoyed our walk around the Gleinkerlake very much. The lake is really beautiful with the wooded mountains around it. The hiking path around the lake is easy to walk for everyone. You can also start different mountain tours from there or go to the “Pießling-Ursprung“, the biggest karstsource in Austria. It is definitely a location we will visit again to take a different tour.
On our drive back I had to stop once more to take this shot of the beautiful landscape 🙂
